The idea that psychology can help with so many questions of socio-ecological transformation and should not be confined to clinics or HR departments was revolutionary in 2016. Human thought, feeling, and action are essential if we want to embark on a new tomorrow. <\/p>\n

That is why Janna was already involved in numerous sustainability projects during her psychology studies, contributing her psychological expertise.<\/p>\n

The projects were successful. In her master’s thesis, Janna conducted an impact evaluation for an educational course by WWF Germany. Janna’s studies were coming to an end, and she looked for organizations where she could dedicate herself full-time to improving the world as a psychologist. No luck! <\/p>\n

That cannot be, she thought, and simply started her own business as a climate psychologist, offering consulting and training. Without start-up capital, she began her experiment during the pandemic \u2013 “brave,” most said. Yet, she immediately encountered immense interest from NGOs, companies, climate movements, politics, and administration. <\/p>\n

The idea spread so quickly that after just 8 months, Janna could no longer handle the numerous inquiries alone. It became clear to her: Either I grow into a social enterprise with employees, or I will be completely overwhelmed. What to do? The decision to prioritize impact and build ClimateMind was quickly made. <\/p>\n
